We had 80 attendees at the reunion, 50 of whom were classmates.

There was great attendance at all of the additional events. Don Cacioppo (Alice Piezzi Cacioppo's husband) had the best bowling score, and Ken Robbins had the second best (thank you Maureen Dunlap Bormolini). The Albany Memory Walk was a big hit and great fun for all those who participated (thank you John Whitman). The Class Cocktail at Skates on the Bay provided additional time to catch up with classmates and watch the sun set over the Bay. Last but not least, the tour of Albany High School, led by Princpal Alexia Ritchie, was fascinating to learn the new buildings, including those currently under construction, seeing The Little Theater (the only building still standing from 1969), seeing the students, and learning about curriculum and what has changed--which is a lot!  Principal Ritchie shared her time generously and answered our many questions. She was so pleased with our visit that she suggested that they would put the photo of our tour group in the 2019-2020 yearbook!

We had a Classmate Quiz, but I can't remember all the winners--help me out (see update below). Lynne Pelosi won the prize of traveling the farthest, coming from Hawaii. I think Nancy Van Pelt Carnahan and Steve Carnahan won for being married the longest (correct me if I'm wrong!), and who had the most grandchildren?. Thanks to Josie Prins Kamei for organizing this and providing the bottles of wine for prizes!

Update on winners:  1)  Lynne Pelosi came the farthest  2)  Carol McClain married the longest  3) Carol McClain & Nancy Van Pelt/Steve Carnahan most grandkids   4) Where were you when they landed on the moon in 1969  I was the farthest (Netherlands) but we gave the prize to Charles Butcher (London)

The second race of the day was named in honor of our class, and these classmates won the chance to go to the Winner's Circle for a photograph (see their photo in the photo album): Sally Verdugo Sheppard, Arnelle Pope Burg, Jackie Reckas Retelas, Nancy Van Pelt Carnahan, Charles Butcher, Bruce Schroffel, Barry Barron, Alice Piezzi Cacioppo, Tina Van Coops Miller, Steve Valenzuela.

Finally, our sincere "thank you" to the following classmates who donated money in support of the reunion:

Maureen Dunlap Bormolini, Lynn Nunes, Sally Turner Darrah, Ken Yamashita, Kevin O'Gorman, Charles Butcher, Emily Macagba, Janice Butts, Lynne Pelosi, Vicki Yamaguchi Chin, Sheila Morishige Matsutani, Bob Stephenson.
